An Essex man has been charged with causing the death of a pedestrian following a crash in Northfleet earlier this year.

An 88-year-old was pronounced dead after a collision on London Road, near the junction with Pier Road, at around 11.50am on May 30.

Damian Demczuk of Quarry Hill, Grays, was arrested following the incident.
