Despite the list of injuries, the man cannot remember how they occurred

Police are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in Northfleet.

The man, who is in his 40s, told detectives that although he remembered sustaining the injuries in Perry Street between 8pm and 9.15pm on October 4, he couldn’t recall how they occurred.

The list of injuries he had included a broken jaw, laceration to the back of his head and possible spinal injuries. His wallet was also found to be missing.

Detective Sergeant Beverley Morrison said: “We are trying to build up a picture of how the man might have suffered these injuries.

“I understand he had visited a number of pubs around the Perry Street area earlier in the evening before he sustained these injuries and would be keen to hear from anybody who thinks they can help us understand the circumstances around this and whether there was any third party involvement.”

Anyone with information is asked to call DS Morrison on 01474 366193, quoting crime report XY/35265/14. Alternatively, to remain anonymous, call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
