Three-year-old Charlie Jamison-Wood had a brilliant time trying out the new play equipment in Swanley Park after helping cut the ribbon.

Mayor of Swanley Cllr Victor Southern was the guest of honour at the opening ceremony last Sunday while Charlie was the first child to play on the new mini climbing wall, pendulum swing, speedway roundabout and buddy board.

Tony Searles, leader of Swanley Town Council, which provided the £122,590 equipment, said: “We look forward to seeing families enjoying these new facilities for years to come.”
