Appeal following Northfleet robbery

Detectives investigating a reported robbery in Northfleet are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Kent Police were called at 8.26am on Sunday December 2 to a report that a man had been found injured in Napier Road.

The 39-year-old victim was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.

He is believed to have suffered a whiplash-type injury after being struck from behind but his condition is not believed to be serious.

The man told police his mobile phone was stolen during the incident.
