Officers appeal for witnesses after serious traffic collision between a car and a motorbike in Dartford

The accident happened on the A2018 Shepherds Lane yesterday afternoon

Police are investigating a fatal collision that happened in Dartford yesterday afternoon.

A dark coloured Vauxhall Insignia collided with a blue Yamaha motorbike on the A2018 Shepherds Lane at 4:54pm, with the motorcyclist passing away at the scene.

A female motorbike passenger was also flown by air ambulance to a London hospital with serious injuries.
