Witnesses are being sought after three robberies were reported in Northfleet last week.
On Tuesday, March 13, two men reported being robbed between 8.30pm and 8.45pm while they were walking on a footpath which runs parallel to the A2 and near to Roman Road.
The first victim was cycling on his bike when he was reported to have been pushed to the ground by a group of men.
He was then assaulted before the suspects stole his bag which contained a laptop and his wallet.
A second man, who was on the footpath separate to the first victim, was walking in the direction of the Cyclopark when he saw a group of around four men walking towards him, who pushed him to the ground before stealing his wallet and mobile phone.
A third victim also reported being approached by a group of men before one attempted to take the cash out of her hand as she withdrew money from a cash machine outside Morrisons in Coldharbour Road.
The victim is reported to have hit the suspect to stop him from taking the money, which resulted in the group running away empty handed.
The incident was reported to have happened at around 9pm, and one of the men was reported to have attempted to take the cash out of the victim’s hand.
Officers believe the incidents are connected and are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the reports.
The suspects are described as a group of around five or six men aged in their early 20’s.
They are reported to be white with tanned skin, and are all described as being of a slim build,
They were wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and one man was reported to have been wearing a dark grey hoodie with hood pulled up tightly around his face.
Some of the group were possibly wearing gloves.
