Orpington boy arrested after attempted robbery at Swanley supermarket

A teenager has been bailed after an attempted robbery was reported at a Swanley supermarket

On Saturday, at around 3.55pm, it was alleged a person approached the supermarket’s travel money bureau and demanded money, but left the scene empty handed.

A 17-year-old boy from the Orpington area has been arrested following a police appeal.

He has been bailed, pending further enquiries, to appear again at a police station on November 3.
