Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Dartford

A 90-year-old man has died after being hit by a car while walking along Watling Street in Dartford.

A green Ford Fiesta crashed into the elderly pedestrian at around 7.40am yesterday (20).

He was taken to Darent Valley Hospital but later died of his injuries.

The driver is helping officers with their enquiries and no arrests have been made.
