Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Gravesend

A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Gravesend.

The 51-year-old local man was rushed to a London hospital with head and chest injuries after being hit by a Citreon Berlingo in Milton Road at 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.

The car was being driven by a 66-year-old woman and Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Call the serious collision unit on 01622 798538 with any information.
