A woman had to be cut out of her car after she and another driver collided into the central reservation on the A2 near Darenth.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 12pm last Monday (11) and the trapped driver was taken to Darent Valley Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The crash led to three lanes of the London-bound carriageway, near the Bluewater turnoff, to be closed for one hour.

Police are appealing for witness to the collision which involved a light blue BMW and a grey Citroen Nemo.
