Missing pensioner airlifted to hospital after being discovered under a bridge

A 70-year-old woman missing since Monday evening has been found near a motorway with life-threatening injuries.

Police appealed for help in finding Pamela Gadd of Park Hill Road, Otford on Tuesday morning, but the pensioner was discovered just hours later at around 11.30am under a bridge by the M26.

The motorway was closed in both directions while the air ambulance landed and she was air lifted to hospital.
