Appeal for witnesses to a Gravesend robbery

Witnesses to a Gravesend robbery are being asked to come forward.

The victim, a woman in her 40s, told police she was walking with her young son in Milton Road, near the junction with Berkley Road, when she was approached by a man who assaulted her and pulled a gold necklace from around her neck.

He is described as being white, about 6ft and in his 30s.

He was wearing a grey top with the hood up and a blue T-shirt underneath, light blue denim jeans and white shoes.

The incident happened at about 6.30pm on Saturday August 4.

Witnesses are urged to call the appeal line on 01474 366149 quoting reference XY/48549/18.
