Police hunt for prison absconder from Dartford

Police are on the hunt for a prisoner from Dartford who absconded from HMP Standford Hill in Sheppey.

Nicky Gale, 29, disappeared from the open prison on Wednesday 2 along with fellow detainee Anthony Hogan, 50, from South London, and both are currently unlawfully at large.

HMP Standford Hill is an open prison for category D prisoners that are at the end of their sentence and are there for resettlement.

Gale is 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and bald. He has a scar on his left temple and a scar on his left hand.

Hogan is 5ft 7ins, of medium build and is balding with grey hair.

If anyone sees either Hogan or Gale, or has any information about their whereabouts, they should contact police on 999. Members of the public are advised not to approach either of them.
