Police hunt men who threw brick at car on M25 in Dartford

PUBLISHED: 12:05 11 September 2012

A 23-year-old car passenger had shards of glass sprayed into her eyes and suffered cut wrists after a brick smashed through the windscreen as she travelled down the motorway.

Georgina Hillier, from Orpington, was with her partner on the M25 in Dartford on Sunday (9) at around 1pm when she noticed two men standing on Watling Street bridge.

As they passed under the bridge an object, thought to be a brick, was thrown at their car and the men ran off towards Greenhithe.

Ms Hillier was taken to Darent Valley Hospital to be treated.

Sgt Sarah Rivett said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who may have further information in relation to this incident. We must prevent something like this from happening again. Next time the victim may not be so lucky.”

Anyone with information can call 101.
