Police are looking to find people who may have helped a missing girl arrive at a police station last week.

The teenager came to Gravesend police station last week, on Tuesday January 19, at around 7.20pm.

She was in a distressed state when she arrived, but police say she is currently safe and well.

Police are trying to establish who she may have spoken to and where she had been staying before she arrived.

She is described as black and was wearing red jeans, a black hooded coat and black and white trainers.

Detective constable Rob Sircar said: “This is an unusual set of circumstances and we are making enquiries to establish where the girl may have been staying and under what conditions.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the girl walking or those who spoke to her.”

If you think you have information that may be able to help officers with their ongoing enquiries, please contact DC Rob Sircar at Kent Police on 01474 366149 and quote reference XY/002297/16.
