Detectives investigating a distraction burglary have released an e-fit image of a man they want to talk to.

The incident took place at Nine Elms Grove at 1pm on July 4, when a man claimed to be from a water company and gained access to a property.

The victim confronted the man after she found him looking around her living room.

The man alleged that someone had stolen money from her purse and escaped through the window.

The victim realised £30 was missing and the man left.

The suspect is described as aged between 20 and 24, 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build with dark brown hair and wrinkles.

He was described as having a foreign accent.

Anyone with information can contact DC Richard Olley at Kent Police by calling 01474 366041 and quoting XY/23663/14.
