The man police want to speak to in jewellers in Bluewater


Police have released images of a man in a jewellers in the Bluewater shopping centre who they want to speak in connection with a theft and fraud offences.

Post was taken a postbox at the end of a victim’s drive in Hertfordshire in November and bank accounts were then opened in the victim’s name to buy items.

The police say the images were taken in the Bluewater store on November 13 when items were bought fraudulently.

Officers believe an offender acting alone, or a group, have committed offences nationally and could visit the shopping centre, Chingford and Enfield.

They want to speak to the man pictured as he may have witnessed the theft and can offer assistance to the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pc Andy Finnan via Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number B2/13/3946. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
