What do you think?

Dartford and Gravesham councils are divided over the impact Greenhithe’s Bluewater Shopping Centre is going to have on town centres.

Already the fourth largest shopping mall in the country, Dartford council has approved plans for it to expand the area known as the West Village by the lake, while also building five extra shopping units to create even more space for shoppers.

Both borough’s are likely to receive six-figure sums as mitigation for the expansion, but Gravesham believes there is no need for the centre to expand.

Jeremy Kite however, believes the job boost from the site’s growth can only be good.
