Have your say as party members start to make their decision
This week saw voting forms drop through the letterboxes of the hundreds of thousands eligible to vote for the new leader of the Labour Party.
The subject of heated debate since Ed Miliband’s miserable reign ended in a crushing defeat in May’s general election, the party finds itself in some turmoil.
Should it lurch back to its traditional heartlands on the Left, or should it continue to fight for the all important centre ground, from which it seized power for three terms, starting in 1997?
It has divided the party and entertained the public, which has witnessed the Left and Right strands of the party fight over its future.
But if you had a vote, regardless of your political party, who would you like to see as the next Labour leader?
