Pony killed in horrendous Gravesend attack
PUBLISHED: 11:11 07 July 2011
A young Shetland pony was put to sleep after being found with its ear cut off and other horrendous slash wounds across all of its body.
The RSPCA has launched an investigation after they discovered the animal straying in Valley Drive, Gravesend, on Tuesday.
The inspector called out a vet straight away and the vet put the pony to sleep to end his suffering.
RSPCA Inspector Alana Chapman said: “We would like to know exactly what happened to this poor pony and who is responsible. We are sure that someone will have some information which can help us to bring a prosecution against whoever did this and so we would like to hear from anyone with information, in strict confidence.”
Calls can be made to the RSPCA on 03001234999 with information.
