The popular play area was officially re-opened by the Mayor of Gravesham, Cllr David Hurley, on Friday July 27.

The play equipment and refurbishment of the park has cost £92k, which includes a mix of swings, a toddler trampoline, a spinner bowl, a roundabout, a multi-play unit for toddlers and juniors, track rider, three-seat sea saw, benches, tunnels, talking tubes and play panels.

The quality upgrade to the park was completed by KOMPAN, world’s number one playground supplier.

Mayor David Hurley said: “The new play area looks fantastic and the young people seemed to love trying out all the new kit.

“Learning through play and the social aspects of our parks and open spaces is so important and I hope that these facilities are well used by families in the borough.”
