Rider thrown off horse

A WOMAN had to be airlifted to hospital after being thrown from a horse on Tuesday. The rider, in her 30s, landed in a field after being thrown up over a fence. Paramedics were called to White Horse Lane, Meopham, at around 2.45pm and Kent Air Ambulanc

A WOMAN had to be airlifted to hospital after being thrown from a horse on Tuesday.

The rider, in her 30s, landed in a field after being thrown up over

a fence.

Paramedics were called to White Horse Lane, Meopham, at around 2.45pm and Kent Air Ambulance scrambled a helicopter.

The airborne crew arrived 10 minutes later and took the woman to King's College Hospital, London.

She had suffered suspected chest and abdominal injuries.
