The assault reportedly took place on Thursday

An 18-year-old was left with a broken wrist and injuries to his head and face in a violent robbery in West Hill on Thursday, June 16.

One or more offenders were involved in the reported incident, which took place just after 10.30pm.

The teenager was reportedly robbed of his mobile phone near the junction with Highfield Road.

Police are continuing their enquiries.
