Rock thrown at car in Gravesend

Police are appealing for information and warning motorists to be vigilant after a rock was thrown at a car in Gravesend.

The incident happened around 4.30 pm on Tuesday 21 in Thames Way.

A woman driving her car heard a smash on the windscreen and when she stopped to investigate and found a small rock nearby.

Fortunately, the rock did not get through the glass.

PC Andy Owen said: ‘Kent Police takes this sort of incident very seriously. I would urge parents to speak to their children so they are aware how dangerous it is, and the consequences of being arrested and dealt with for criminal offences.’
