Fire was at risk of spreading to nearby lorries

Fire crews were called to Swanscombe over the weekend after a large rubbish fire broke out.

Around 15 firefighters were called to Manor Way just before 7pm on Saturday and spent a good two hours fighting the fire, which was at risk of spreading to lorries parked nearby.

Police were also called. The cause of the fire has not been established.
