Second Swanley teen charged over Hextable burglary

A second Swanley teenager has been arrested in connection with an aggravated Hextable burglary which left an elderly couple in hospital.

The 17-year-old was arrested today and remains in custody. The 16-year-old arrested yesterday has been released without charge.

Following the incident around 9am on Tuesday in the Panters area of Hextable, an 84 year-old man and an 89 year-old woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to King’s College Hospital in London.

The man remains in hospital and the woman was discharged yesterday.
