The club is undergoing a £5million development

A multi-million development at a Wilmington golf club will be on show to the public this weekend.

Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club is inviting the public to two open weekends to showcase the £5million development works currently underway.

This weekend, and again on September 30 to October 2, visitors will be able to tour the facility and see the planned developments, including a 25 metre swimming pool.

General manager at the club Melanie Drake, said: “The renovations are well underway, and certain areas have already been completed and are open for us.

“All of the new and improved facilities are now starting to take shape, and we can’t wait for the project to be completed and the club to be fully operational.”

The project is expected to be finished by the beginning of next year.
