Beer, food and an Oompah band will feature

Following last year’s success, Dartford is set to turn German next month as it creates its own take on Oktoberfest.

On October 8, Dartford Oktoberfest is set to return, this time at Temple Hill Community Centre.

Nearly 100 people turned up last year to enjoy steins of German beer, a live Oopmah band and traditional Bavarian bratwurst.

This year will offer more tickets and a larger band as well as Lowenbrau beer, one of the breweries at Munich’s Oktoberfest.
