Schools are closed and trains delayed as the weekend’s snowfall continues to disrupt services on Monday morning.

Southeastern warned many trains would be cancelled this morning.

Its Twitter feed said the Gravesend to Charing Cross train was running at least 20 minutes late.

In Gravesend 13 schools were cancelled while in Dartford 15 schools have closed for the day.

More snow is expected to fall later today but the Met Office predicts it will end by tomorrow, although temperatures will stay around one degree for the rest of the week.
