A friendly dragon flew into The Priory Shopping Centre on Saturday as Dartford celebrated St George’s Day.
Children had the opportunity to meet St George in his full suit of armour at intervals throughout the day.
And Making Miracles sold knitted baby wear to raise money for the charity – which supports families of high risk pregnancies, premature babies and baby loss.
The charity was also raising awareness of its new book, The Baby, by Joseph Hopkins.
The book is intended to support families that are suffering or have suffered with the loss of a baby.
Shelley Filippi, Priory Centre manager, said: “Holding the event on Saturday enabled children, who would otherwise be at school, to enjoy the celebrations.”
The Priory’s mascot, Herbert - a warbler – was also there to meet children and celebrate England’s patron saint.
