A 21-YEAR-OLD student was mugged for his jewellery and a mobile phone by two attackers.

The man was waiting in his car outside a grocery store on Arthur Street, Gravesend, on November 19 between 1.30 and 2pm when he was approached by two men in their 20s.

Both are black, dark haired, and 6ft. They ran off along Clifton Grove and into Trafalgar Road.

One wore a grey hooded top and dark trousers the other a dark-coloured tracksuit and black woollen hat.

Investigating PC Simon Williams said: "The victim was sitting in the driver's seat of a light green-coloured BMW, minding his own business when he was robbed. This took place during what would have been a busy time in Gravesend town centre."

Call PC Williams on 01474 366098 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
