Pickled cucumber jars containing what is believed to be cannabis prompted Kent Police officers to arrest two men.

The two jars were uncovered after officers stopped a van in the Watling Street, Dartford, area on Wednesday November 7.

A variety of vehicle parts, which are suspected to have been stolen, were found in the van.

A nearby storage unit was also searched and the suspected class B drug was subsequently uncovered.

The arrested men are a 25-year-old man from Dagenham and a 32-year-old man from Thamesmead.

They were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possessing cannabis and have been released, pending further enquiries.
