A MAN was due to appear in court yesterday following the seizure of a large quantity of drugs by police in North Kent.

More than 4kg of a substance believed to be cocaine, with an estimated street value of £200,000, was discovered when police executed a warrant in Gravesend on Tuesday.

Christopher Oliver, 25, of Bonaventure Court, Gravesend, is charged with one count of possession with intent to supply cocaine and was due to appear at Dartford Magistrates Court.

A 21-year-old woman also arrested was bailed by police pending further inquiries.
