Swanley collision update: 20-year-old pedestrian dies

A 20-year-old woman has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Swanley.

The woman, named locally as Victoria Woodbridge, was knocked down as she was walking along London Road on Wednesday evening.

She was taken to a London hospital with serious head injuries but died on Thursday afternoon.

Police said she was hit by a brown Volkswagan Touran that was travelling towards Sidcup.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
