Swanley man dies after being hit by lorry on M25

A Swanley man has died after being hit by a lorry on the M25 clockwise between junctions three and four.

The man, in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident at around 3.30am this morning.

Accident investigation work took place at the scene of the crash between junction three for Swanley, and junction four for Orpington.

The road was closed during rush hour, but has since re-opened after diversion had been put in place. No arrests have been made.
