Swanley man killed in M25 crash named as Jamie Carter

The man who died after being hit by a lorry on the M25 last week has been named as Jamie Carter.

Kent Police was called just after 3.30am on Wednesday, May 15 to a report than a brown DAF truck and a pedestrian had collided on the clockwise carriageway between junction three for Swanley and junction four for Orpington.

Mr Carter, from Swanley and in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The carriageway between junctions three and four was closed until around 1pm while officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carried out investigations and cleared the area.
