TWIN sisters from Swanley have been helping to run the World Scout Jamboree in Japan.

Abby and Bethany Williams, 22, will meet people from all over the world at the event.

They were inspired to volunteer behind the scenes after attending a previous jamboree in Sweden.

Bethany said: “I am so excited to be representing the UK and feel incredibly lucky to have been given this opportunity.”

Abby added: “Scouting has inspired me to train to become a teacher.”

The Jamboree is a gathering of tens of thousands of Scouts from around the world.
