Takeaway shop fire in Temple Hill sees three fire engines on scene

Two fire engines responded within six minutes of the 999 call

Fire fighters in Dartford were called to a takeaway in Temple Hill last night.

Two fire engines arrived at Temple Hill Square within six minutes of receiving the 999 call, with a third called in to the three-storey building.

Crews forced entry to the property, and found the believed source of the fire at the mains fuse box inside the building.

UK Power was in attendance to isolate the power following the electrical fault.

The ground floor of the property suffered fire, heat and smoke damage.

No one was injured.

Fire fighters were called at 11.46pm and had brought the fire under control at 12.32am.
