Tanker lorry caught on fire in Marsh Street, Dartford

Fire crews were called on scene just after midday

Firefighters tackled a fire in the cab of a tanker lorry in Marsh Street, Dartford today (Wednesday).

Crews were called on scene just after 12.30pm wearing breathing apparatus while using a hose reel and a fog spike to reach under the cab to battle the flames.

The fire, which destroyed the cab of the vehicle, is believed to have been caused by an electrical faults.

Nobody was harmed in the blaze.
