Teen assaulted in Dartford town centre

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was headbutted and punched in the face during an assault in Dartford town centre.

The victim, a 19 year old from the town, was attacked at around 2am on Spital Street on Monday May 30.

He was with a group of friends walking to get a taxi home when they were approached by a second group who called insults at them.

Following an argument the groups separated but came face to face a short while later.

A man, described as 20 to 25, six foot tall with short blond hair and blonde stubble approached the teenager headbutted him and punched him in the face.

He was dressed in a striped dark and light blue and white jumper and jeans.
