Teenage boy among arrests as pensioner suffers ‘serious head injuries’ in Northfleet

Police were called to Hall Road on Thursday evening

A pensioner is in a London hospital after receiving ‘serious head injuries’ during a suspected assault last night (Thursday).

The man in his 70s, was taken to hospital following a disturbance in Hall Road Northfleet at around 7.30pm.

Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy, a 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman all on suspicion of assault.

All three remain in custody.

Officers are continuing with their enquiries and are asking for witnesses to come forward.
