The line between Gravesend and Higham has been reopened after a landslip this morning caused Southeastern services to temporarily stop.

A Southeastern spokesman confirmed the news but added the service would be delayed for the time being.

The spokesman said: “Both lines are now open. We have got speed restrictions in place on the line that runs from Kent to London.

“At the moment, we are subject to some delays but we are working hard to get services back to normal.”
