The outdoor cinema starts from August 17
Films for all the family are set to be projected onto the big screen for an outdoor cinema later this month.
Queen’s Gardens will host seven films across three days, with a host of 80’s nostalgia coupled with family flicks all set to feature.
On Thursday, August 17, the outdoor cinema will begin with The Goonies from 7.30pm.
The following day three films will be aired, Happy Feet at 10.30am, Annie at 3.30pm and Top Gun at 7.30pm
On Saturday, August 19, The Smurfs will play at 10.30am and Labyrinth, starring Bromley icon David Bowie will air at 3.30pm.
The final film will be chosen by viewers in a poll ending on August 11, with viewers able to choose from Ghostbusters, Grease or Dirty Dancing via www.yourbromley.com/midsummermovies.
The event is free to attend, but movie goers can donate to the Chartwell Trust and Bromley Homeless Shelter to get a beanbag or deck chair.
Frances Forest, manager at Your Bromley, commented “We hope our free movie screening events will be enjoyed by new and existing visitors to the area as we bring some cinema classics to the great outdoors.”
