Three people have been charged after airgun pellets were fired at motorway drivers near Wrotham.

Daniel Honey, 20, of The Chestnuts in Addington, and two boys, ages 18 and 16, both from Maidstone, were charged with conspiracy to cause criminal damage today.

Three reports were made to Kent police on October 16 last year relating to incidents occuring between 6pm and 7pm that evening.

Officers believe the pellets were fired at moving vehicles, with at least one motorist sustaining injuries, where the M20 meets the M26.

The trio will appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on March 27.

The teenagers cannot be named for legal reasons.
