Three fire engines on scene in Gravesend after electrical fire

The fire is in St Princes Street

Three fire engines were on scene in St Princes Street earlier today (Friday) following a fire in an electrical intake cupboard.

Crews used a dry powder extinguisher and wore electrically insulated gloves to help isolate the power from the consumer unit.

After dealing with the blaze, care was passed on to UK Power Networks.
