Three people arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Dartford

Officers on a routine patrol in Dartford have arrested three people on suspicion of drug offences.

Police were in Darenth Road on Wednesday April 11, when a car came to their attention at around 3.20pm.

Having requested the vehicle to stop, officers then searched inside and found what was believed to be wraps of cannabis in the vehicle.

A 16-year-old girl from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply the drug.

Officers also arrested a 24-year-old man from Greenhithe for drug offences, as well as possessing a bladed article and possessing a prohibited weapon.

Another 24-year-old man from Dartford was also arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, possession with intent to supply cannabis, driving while unfit through drugs, and driving while disqualified and without insurance.

All three people have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
