Tonbridge man arrested after car driven onto Brands Hatch track

A man has been arrested after a car was driven onto the Brands Hatch race track in West Kingsdown last Saturday.

Kent Police said a 21-year-old man from Tonbridge was arrested on Monday on suspicion of false imprisonment after the police were made aware of the possible offences committed.

The white Volkswagon, carrying two passengers as well as the driver, is seen in a video of the incident, driving along the former Formula One circuit.

The video has been viewed 200,000 times online.
