Train disruptions expected following incident between Dartford and Slade Green

Emergency services have successfully dealt with an incident between Dartford and Slade Queen, and lines have now been reopened.

There were reports of a fire under a train between the line, which the fire brigade and Network Rail response staff have now dealt with.

The affected train is now moving towards Dartford.

Whilst services recover, journeys between Dartford and Woolwich Arsenal, as well as Bexleyheath and Sidcup may be cancelled, delayed by up to one hour of revised.

Disruption is anticipated to continue until 7pm.
