The family of a man who died following a collision in Darenth have paid tribute to everyone who attempted to save the life of the much loved husband, father and grandad.

Paul Pratt, 69, who was from Dartford, died at the scene of the collision in Green Street Green Road, Lane End, on Monday, January 22.

Mr Pratt was riding a Honda motorbike which was involved in an accident with a white Volkswagen Polo, and a secondary incident with a blue Ford Fiesta.

In a statement, his family said: “To everyone involved in helping to save my husband/Dad/Grandad Paul Pratt at the accident scene on Green Street Green Road, we appreciate everything all involved did to help try to save his life and would like to thank you all.

“From what we have been told you all did your very best and more to try and save him.

“We’re sure this is also a very difficult time for you all as it is for us and hope in time the pain will heal.”

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the collision, and would like to hear from anyone with information or dash cam footage that is yet to contact them.

The white Polo was travelling towards Green Street Green and Mr Pratt’s motorbike with travelling in the same direction.

The bike was then involved in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction, towards Dartford.
