A total of three people have been charged after breaking into a Gravesend home and stealing the owner’s car last week.

Mitchal Routledge, 19, of an unknown address, has been charged with burglary, handling stolen goods, theft of a motor vehicle and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, in Rochester Road, overnight between February 3 and 4.

A 17-year-old girl, from Erith, was hit with the same charges - as well as possessing a controlled Class B drug. She has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Dartford on March 6.

The third person, Billie Leece-Barret, 20, of Church Manorway, Abbey Wood, was also hit with the same charges as Routledge. She will join the 17-year-old at Dartford Magistrates’ Court next month.
